Prepare for the RCQI – Recognition as a Quebec Immigration Consultant with Jurislocator’s structured and practice-based program designed for Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) who wish to obtain official recognition from the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) in order to legally advise, assist, or represent clients in Quebec immigration matters.
Holding a valid license from the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) is not sufficient to act as an immigration consultant in Québec. To practise lawfully, consultants must obtain official recognition (RCQI) from the MIFI. Once recognized, their names appear in the Registre québécois des consultants en immigration.
Any person who acts as an immigration consultant in Québec without this recognition may be subject to legal prosecution under the Loi sur l’immigration au Québec.
This program is designed to ensure that RCICs fully understand their legal and ethical obligations under the Québec framework and are ready to successfully complete the RCQI assessment process.
